We were looking for a dog that perfectly matches our family and we found it:   THE ENGLISH BULLDOG    Since 1992 we have had several St. Bernard dogs, tremendous dogs.  But after we welcomed our first English bulldog in to our family, our life has never been the same.   Our family got more and more attached to this breed and now our motto is: Once a bulldog.... Always a bulldog!   Who are we? Nelleke and Wouter and our childeren Peter, Gerben and Meron.  We also take care of our foster children Roxanne, Jeffrey and Valerie and sometimes others.  We live in a small village called Veen and have half an acre of ground for our dogs to roam in.   Of course our bulldogs live with us in our house, where they grow up with lots of love and attention.   From time to time we love to go to dog shows with the dogs, but because of the size of our family not as often as we would like to.   Our Kennel name is KANTEEL, this is Dutch for MERLON . Merlon is, in medieval architecture, the solid point between two crenels in a battlement or crenelated wall.   So essentially, the merlon is one of the strong-points of the castle's defence. We are members of the Dutch bulldog club EBCN and our goal is to breed healthy, standard weight bulldog, with correct temperament. Enjoy surfing on our site.   Nelleke en Wouter Kok.
